CARF accreditation
Open Arms LLC is accredited by CARF International, the independent accrediting body for behavioral health and rehabilitation providers. Accreditation means our programs, documentation, safety practices, and client rights protections are reviewed against internationally recognized standards through on-site surveys, and that we maintain a continuous quality improvement process between surveys. You can verify our accreditation status or learn what CARF accreditation means at carf.org.
Person-centered planning
Every client has an individualized plan built with them, not for them. Plans use goals stated in the client's own words, identify the supports and natural community resources involved, and are reviewed on a regular schedule and whenever needs change. Clients receive a copy of their plan and may request a review at any time.
Outcomes and performance improvement
We track program performance rather than assuming it. Measures we review include access and time from referral to first appointment, attendance and engagement, goal attainment on individual plans, discharge and transition status, hospitalization and crisis contacts, and client satisfaction. Results are reviewed by leadership, shared with staff, and used to set targets for the next review period. Clients and families can request a summary of our current program results by contacting info@openarmsprp.com.
Your feedback shapes our programs
We ask people we serve for feedback through satisfaction surveys, treatment plan reviews, and direct conversation with program staff. Feedback can be given by name or anonymously, and it never affects your services. Suggestions and complaints are aggregated and reviewed as part of our performance improvement process.
Cultural responsiveness
The people we serve come from many backgrounds, cultures, languages, faiths, and identities. We recruit staff who reflect the communities we serve, provide free interpretation and translated or alternative-format materials, train staff on cultural humility and trauma informed care, and adjust how services are delivered when a standard approach does not fit a client's needs, beliefs, or circumstances.
Health and safety
Our offices maintain written emergency procedures covering medical emergencies, behavioral crises, fire and evacuation, severe weather, and utility failure. Staff are oriented to these procedures, drills are conducted and documented, and incidents are reported, reviewed, and used to correct risks. Client areas are inspected on a routine schedule.
Rights protection
Clients are informed of their rights at admission, in writing and in plain language, and rights are posted in client areas. We do not use restraint or seclusion as coercion, discipline, retaliation, or convenience. Allegations of abuse, neglect, or exploitation are reported to the appropriate state authority and investigated. See our Client Rights and Responsibilities for the full statement.
Confidentiality and records
Client information is protected under HIPAA and, for substance use records, 42 CFR Part 2. Access to records is limited to staff who need it for care or operations, and disclosures follow the rules described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Staff qualifications
Clinical services are delivered by licensed and credentialed professionals and by rehabilitation staff who work under clinical supervision. We verify credentials, licensure, and background checks before hire, confirm them on an ongoing basis, and require annual training in areas including confidentiality, rights, crisis response, and cultural responsiveness.
Reporting a compliance concern
Report suspected fraud, waste, abuse, a privacy violation, or any unethical conduct to (667) 239-3195 or info@openarmsprp.com. Reports may be made anonymously. We prohibit retaliation against anyone, client or employee, who makes a good faith report. If you would rather report outside the organization, the external contacts listed on our Client Rights page accept complaints directly.
In a crisis
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911. For 24/7 crisis support, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
