You are on the team, whether or not it feels that way this week.
Six things that help
- Show up consistently to sessions, even if your child pushes back.
- Keep the language you use at home aligned with your child's therapist.
- Protect sleep and routine at all costs.
- Watch for warning signs (withdrawal, self harm talk) and act early.
- Coordinate with school with written permission.
- Get your own support. You cannot pour from an empty cup.
